Amee and Glenn’s wedding was different, simple and beautiful. They decided to get married at the Brisbane Registry office in front of their family and friends. Amee hid behind a concrete pillar while Glenn and the guests gathered in front of the venue. After the ceremony their was a mass exodus, with everyone following the bride and groom to the Botanical gardens. Here they threw some blankets on the ground, drank some bubbles, blew some bubbles and chatted in the afternoon sunshine while guests wrote messages to Amee and Glenn on blackboards. After a few informal speeches they served their guests profiteroles as the wedding cake. We then spent some time in the gardens and city taking some photos before they headed to the Stamford plaza for dinner. Amee’s cute little personal touches were perfect. My favourite was the ‘something blue’ painted very carefully by her dad onto the bottom of her shoes. Glenn is one lucky man :)
On a side note, Amee’s hair and make-up (which looked amazing!) was done by the lovely ladies at The Beauty Case. If you are getting married you should check them out if you haven’t already. Thanks Peta for second shooting; you are wonderful in every single way.
