Their day was epic to say the least. Two ceremonies, two dresses (one being a stunning George Wu dress) and two receptions. Yet at the same time it was very, very simple and purely about celebrating a marriage with family. Simple as that. I started documenting at 8am at Uyen’s parents house where they were holding a traditional tea ceremony and a meal afterwards. The house was full of activity with many colours and aromas of delicious food being cooked. Fire works loudly exploded before Ben and his family arrived to exchange gifts before the ceremony commenced. It was a beautiful celebration of families and traditions coming together. A heartfelt meal was shared at the house before getting ready to leave for the Church. Afterwards Ben, Uyen and I hung out in a field nearby to take a few photos before joining the guests at Brookfield hall where the most stunning reception was waiting for us (set up by the Little Gray Station). Apart from morning sickness trying to kill me it truly was a beautiful, beautiful day. Happy first anniversary you two! xx
